Zanziar imaginatively combines a strategy board game with the wider range of player choice of the role-playing game tradition. The game world is alive with detail, enabling new and surprising gaming experiences to stand the test of time – and offering great replay value. Since Zanziar is as enjoyable when played as a game of adventure as of strategy or tactics, it is accessible for players of different ages with different levels of gaming experience. Easy to learn but difficult to master, the game offers fun and excitement for the whole family. Zanziar is the first release of Finnish game design company Dragon Dawn Productions. Its creator, Timo Multamäki, has decades of experience in role-playing game design and production. The game is in English and is recommended for players of 12 years and up. Rules are also available in Finnish. German, Swedish, Danish and Russian translations are presently done and will be published within 2009 as free PDFs
